December 18, 2007: Plan for Combating Terrorism To Be Discussed by State Security Council

Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek of the Czech Republic will attend a meeting of the State Security Council to be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at 1:00 p.m.

The members of the Council will discuss, among other issues, the following items:

 a report on further measures to provide for the Czech Republic’s energy security;

 National Action Plan To Combat Terrorism for the Years 2008-2009;

 analysis of the problems relating to the activities and draft solution of the format of the State Material Reserves Administration;

 evaluation of the Civil Defence Concept until 2006 with an outlook to the year 2013, and draft Civil Defence Concept until 2013 with an outlook to 2020;

 information on the current developments in the Kosovo, issues concerning NATO and the European Union in the security field.
