February 4, 2008: Premier Mirek Topolánek To Meet Jana Rašínová, granddaughter of the Czech Finance Minister in the Interwar Period,

Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek, joined by the members of the Rašín family, will pay homage to the late Alois Rašín, a leading Czech economist, politician and distinguished representative of the Czechoslovak Republic before World War II. JUDr. Alois Rašín died on February 18, 1923 of wounds sustained in an assassination.
