April 24, 2008: OECD Secretary-General To Publish Economic Survey of the Czech Republic

On Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 11:20 a.m. Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek will open public presentation of the Economic Survey of the Czech Republic. It will be officially presented by OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría in the presence of members of the Czech Government and other guests.

The visit of the OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría in the Czech Republic continues with reception by President Václav Klaus (3 p.m., Prague Castle), and a lecture and subsequent discussion with Charles University students (5 p.m. auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University, Opletalova Street 26, Prague 1).

On Friday, April 25, 2008 A. Gurría will meet officials of both chambers of the Parliament of the Czech Republic (11:15 a.m., main hall of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic), will be received by the Mayor of Prague Pavel Bém (2:30 p.m. City Hall). At 4:00 p.m. the OECD Secretary-General will address representatives of the Czech National Bank, Ministry of Finance and other officials of the banking, business and academic sectors (Congress Centre of the Czech National Bank, Senovážné nám. 30, Prague 1).
