August 20, 2008: Czech Government Meeting;Press Conference at 1:00 p.m.

Meeting on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., the members of the Government of the Czech Republic will be discussing, among other issues, the following topics: 

- draft amendment to the Act on the protection of economic competition; 
- draft amendment to the Act on civilian aviation, business in trade, and the protection of the state frontiers of the Czech Republic; 
- draft amendment to the Act on the handling of security material; 
- draft amendment to the Insolvency Act; 
- draft amendment to the Act on the protection of economic competition; 
- subject matter of a Bill on criminal court proceedings; 
- report of the Attorney’s General Office on the activities of the Attorney’s General Office for 2007; 
- draft Government Regulation on the adjustment of compensation for the costs of the sustenance of survivors; 
- draft Government Regulation on taking some measures in the common organization of the fruit and vegetable market; 
- specification of the equipment for safeguarding, rescue and evacuation work for the Opava River Basin for the years 2009-2001, including calculation of the financial means and proposed sources for their coverage.
