January 12, 2009: Press Statement by Czech prime Minister Mirek Topolanek

I do welcome the decision of the KDU-ÈSL (Christian Democratic Union - Czechoslovak People’s Party) on the issue of the planned Government reshuffle. Now it’s possible to finish the changes in the Government as I have planned them. I will announce the final composition of the Government in the next few days. I am convinced that these changes will be conducive to rationalizing the work of the cabinet. At the same time, they mark a strengthening of cooperation within the coalition. It has been proved once again that the three-part coalition concept has its meaning, having its added value for the citizens, standing above partial party interests, while being worth carrying on.
