The International Energy Regulation Forum is organised under the auspices of Mirek Topolánek

The Fifth International Energy Regulatory Forum will be held on 26 March 2009 in Grand Hotel Bohemia in Prague. The forum is organised under the auspices of Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek, Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Alexandr Vondra and Chairman of the Czech Regulatory Office Josef Fiřt.

Last year more than 100 energy experts took part in the forum. Among many others, the following persons have agreed to address the forum: Josef Fiřt (Chairman of the Czech Regulatory Office), Martin Herrmann (RWE Transgas), Vladimír Tošovský (CEO, ČEPS), Alexandr Vondra (Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs), Petr Koblic (CEO, Prague Stock Exchange), Jaroslav Pantůček (CEO, MERO), representatives of regulatory authorities from Sweden, Germany, Austria and Romania. Alexander Ivanovich Medvedev of Gazprom was also invited.
