The Prime Minister met German Minister of Foreign Affairs Guido Westerwelle

Prime Minister Petr Nečas received German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Guido Westerwelle, who visited Czech Republic on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Czechoslovakian-German Treaty on Good-neighbourliness and Friendly Cooperation.

Prime Minister Petr Nečas received German Minister of Foreign Affairs Guido Westerwelle.During the negotiations, both politicians concurred on a very positive evaluation of Czech-German relations development. According to Prime Minister Nečas they are at the historically best level not only at the intergovernmental level but also at the level of regions, municipalities and citizens. However, the meeting also covered recent development in the European Union.

In the morning Westerwelle met also Karel Schwarzenberg, his Czech counterpart, and made a speech in the Senate during a ceremony dedicated to the anniversary.
