2nd April, 2008: Czech Government Meeting, Press Conference at 1.30 p.m.

The Czech Government will meet on Wednesday, 2nd April, starting at 9 a.m. to discuss inter alia the following items:

- bill on mitigating the effects of some instances of property loss caused to churches and religious associations in the period of totalitarian rule
- draft amendment of the Employment Act
- draft amendment of the School Act
- draft definition of the subject-matter of the Public Health Insurance Act
- draft definition of the subject-matter of the Act on Health Insurance Companies
- draft definition of the subject-matter of the Act on Health Services and Conditions of their Provision
- implementation of the project of "Recording biometric elements when processing visa applications at Czech Embassies"
- summary of the evaluation of the results of research and development programmes completed in 2006.

The press conference will be followed by a briefing by Minister of Health Tomáš Julínek on the legislation which the Government will have discussed. Journalists are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.
