December 19, 2007: Premier To Present Prizes to Successful Farmers
This year’s competition “Farmer of the Year“ will culminate with a ceremony announcing its results to be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2007.
The ceremony, attended by Czech Premier Mirek Topolánek, some other politicians and business representatives, will take place in Prague’s Pod Palmovkou Theatre, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Out of 21 farms that entered the competition a specialist jury has selected five winners. The ultimate goal of the contest is to award successful farmers and thus support the development of the farming community in the Czech Republic.
