March 31, 2008: Premier and Ministers to Unveil Road Traffic Foursome - Hope for Transport

Road Traffic Foursome - a plan encompassing the Czech Government’s priorities aimed at improving road traffic safety - will be unveiled by Premier Mirek Topolánek together with Interior Minister Ivan Langer and Transport Minister Aleš Øebíèek on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. Also attending the presentation of the Government’s Road Traffic Foursome project will be Director of the Czech Traffic Police Martin Èervíèek who will talk about practical findings and experience on road traffic.
The cornerstones of the Government’s strategy on road traffic safety are as follows: Prevention and Education, Comprehensible and Just Law, Better Roads, and Quality Policing. The Road Traffic Foursome programme defines not only the problem areas but also lays down specific steps leading to their solution.
