October 14, 2008:Premier To Receive Vice Chairman of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council

 At 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2008, Czech Premier Mirek Topolánek will meet Ammar Abd al-Azíz al-Hakim, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council (the largest political party in the Iraqi Parliament). Under discussion will be primarily the current situation in Iraq. The Czech Republic has been actively engaged in the transformation of Iraq, e.g. by granting financial support to the project of the children’s primary care hospital in Basra.
