January 28, 2009: Premier to Meet European Trade Union Officials;Press Conference at 8:45 a.m.

Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek will receive representatives of the European Trade Union Confederation and the Bohemian-Moravian Confederation of Trade Unions at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2009.

Mr. John Monks, the General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation, will convey to the Czech Premier a Memorandum in which European trade unionists declare their positions on the current priorities of the given country’s presidency of the Council of the European Union at the start of each presidency.
